I'm studying multiple decrement tables at the moment for Actuarial Stats. And I'm looking at this nuptialty table of women of all races in the USA in the 1960s.

According to this table, as soon as you hit 20 years old, the chances of you dying before marrying increases! W00t!

Also, according to life tables... it's good to be 10 years old. It is the optimal age where the chances of dying is at the absolute lowest. Chances of dying only increases from then on.

How depressing!
