Second song recording, y'all!

Okay, so I fucked up big time with this song. I recorded it and played around with a filter. Then I decided the filter sounded shit and so I went downstairs to get some food. Then I come back upstairs to remove the filter and I lose original recordings! So I'm panicking and trying to unfilter the filtered song using more filters! Garageband isn't my friend.

Due to the unfiltering of filtered recording, it's still a bit shite but sounding a lot better now than before. My first vocal line sounds as if I'm singing in some depressing karaoke bar. But it improves from then on. Excuse the lame-ness and take it for what it is - me loving this song and recording it! ;)

Elton John - Daniel.mp3

I had issues trying to sing this song because it is rather low. Hitting low notes without going way out of tune was hard for me with my limited vocal range. I love Elton and this is one of my favourites. There's so many Elton songs that I would love to cover. Might go through them slowly. I think Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is next on the cards!

Wow, that's awesome! Your rhythm is great, and apart from the airy production due to your mic (the distance from, too), and probably the filters (haha), it's just awesome!
