Well! Remember a many moons ago I was talking about Engineers Without Borders -- a collective of engineering students who wish to use their skills to help developing countries and disadvantaged communities for a better way of life? Well, I'm now on the committee and our new club is up and running! At the moment we're planning a few seminars to 'educate' and spread awareness on the social, economic, environmental, political, ethical, and cultural impacts of engineering projects (far beyond the technical skills taught in the classroom). I am very pleased to be part of this exciting project because I want to help make a difference to the world.
